Robert Grimm’s Bio Sketch

Robert Grimm was born and raised in Germany. He received a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Washington in Seattle. He served as Assistant as well as Associate Professor at NYU before switching to industrial software engineering. Academic awards include a CAREER award from the National Science Foundation and a junior fellowship at NYU’s Center for Teaching Excellence. He since has worked at Goldman Sachs, Facebook, and a couple of startups. His hobbies include music (listening) and photography (taking). He blogs at apparebit.com.
