Welcome to Apparebit! I am Robert Grimm. I live in Brooklyn, NY and work as a software engineer. This is my personal website.
Given a professional career spanning both academic computer science and industrial software engineering, technology is an important topic here. Having additional experience in social work, gay activism, movie making, and art photography, you will find that I also take a strong interest in arts and politics. Independent of topic, my goal here is to tell compelling stories—whether they are told through words, photographs, or code. After all, story telling is essential for humans connecting with each other and learning from each other.
